1. Acceptance of Terms
By scheduling, requesting, or receiving services from Radar IT Services (“Company,” “we,” or “us”), you (“Client”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
These terms apply to all services, whether provided on‑site, remotely, or through consultation.
2. Scope of Services
Radar IT Services provides residential information technology support services, which may include, but are not limited to:

Troubleshooting and diagnostics

Computer setup, cleanup, or configuration

Data transfer or backup assistance
-
Wi‑Fi and home network configuration
-
Printer and peripheral setup
-
Home office setup and general IT guidance
Services are provided based on the conditions observed at the time of service and the scope agreed upon with the Client.
3. No Guarantee of Outcome
Technology issues vary in complexity and cause. While services are performed with reasonable care and professional diligence:

No guarantee is made that issues will be fully resolved

No warranty is provided regarding performance, data integrity, or future system behavior
-
Some issues may require additional services, equipment replacement, or referrals to other providers
4. Client Responsibilities
The Client is responsible for:

Providing accurate information during booking and service

Ensuring access to equipment, devices, and systems
-
Maintaining backups of important data prior to service
-
Having legal authority to request service on the equipment involved
Radar IT Services is not responsible for data loss resulting from pre‑existing conditions, failing hardware, or lack of prior backups.
5. Pricing and Payment
5.1 Flat‑Rate Services
Certain services are offered at flat‑rate pricing, which covers standard, reasonably expected scope of work. If additional work is required, it will be discussed before proceeding.
5.2 Hourly Services
Services outside flat‑rate scope are billed at the applicable hourly rate. Time‑based work is rounded to reasonable increments.
5.3 Add‑On Services
Optional services such as hardware pickup, extended travel, or additional configuration may incur additional charges, disclosed in advance.
5.4 Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of service, unless otherwise agreed

Accepted payment methods may include credit/debit card, electronic transfer, or other approved methods

Prices listed include standard payment processing costs
6. Scheduling, Cancellations, and No‑Shows

Appointments are scheduled through Microsoft Bookings or approved methods
-
Clients are expected to be available at the scheduled time
-
Significant delays, cancellations, or no‑shows may result in fees or rescheduling at the Company’s discretion
7. Hardware and Third‑Party Products
Unless explicitly agreed otherwise:

Clients provide their own hardware and software

Radar IT Services does not act as the manufacturer or warrantor of devices
-
Hardware sourcing or pickup may be offered as an additional service
Radar IT Services is not responsible for manufacturer defects, warranty issues, or third‑party product failures.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Radar IT Services is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, loss of business, or loss of use

Liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim
9. Right to Refuse or Discontinue Service
Radar IT Services reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if:

A request involves illegal activity

Unsafe conditions exist

The client becomes abusive or uncooperative

Required access or permissions are not provided
10. Privacy
Client information is used solely for service delivery, scheduling, billing, and communication. Radar IT Services does not sell or share client data except as required by law or necessary to perform services.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict‑of‑law principles.
12. Changes to Terms
These Terms and Conditions may be updated periodically. The most current version will be made available on the Company’s website or upon request.
